Trip to Santiago, Chile

There are many sports in chile, they can be preformed at the professional level or amateur levels. The most popular sport is soccer, but in rual areas the most successful is tennis and rodeo. There are multiple sports

Sports are big in Chile and they will continue to be.

The culture of chile is very like the USA. They have a lot of the same things we have here.
The main things that compare to the US are the popularity of their music. In the US we have a lot of dances, well there national dance is the cueca.
There also have a lot of Literature in there country. A lot of Chilean authors have earned an international value in literary.
Like the US they have there own film production. It is really growing, making about 20 films annually.
They also have a multiple sports like the USA. They have football,but in the USA we call it soccer. They also have skiing, surfing, basketball, and rodeo.

Greetings in Chile are important because they show hat one is welcome and recognized. The main greeting between friends and family is the abrazo. It is a handshake followed by a hand shake, then a kiss to the right cheek for women and family members. Eye contact is very important during a conversation. Iteams are always handed to a person and never thrown.

A lot of the nationl dishes are served with fish, seafood, chicken, beef, beans, potatoes, eggs, and corn.

For breakfest i will be going to Café Melba in santiago chile, and be getting eegs, bacnon, and hotcakes. It will cost me about 7 dollars total.

For lunch we will be going to El Huerto restruarnte in snatiago where i will be have some steak for around 7.50.

Then for dinner i will be having itilian food at Le Due Torri in Las Condes, Santiago. I will be having this for around 12.50. More expensive then the other two.

The first activity i will be doing the day i arrive is go swimming in the south pacific ocean. I will be relaxing on the beach and having fun swimming and relaxing. I will be doing this every morning right after i eat breakfast.

After every lunch i will be visiting Parque Araucano. It is a park in Las Condes that has fountains,basketball and tennis courts, a bike park, a lot of playgrounds, and it is across from the Parque Arauco mall.

Then for dinner we will be going to see the Chile soccer team play. There nick name is the ropa, the red one.

I will be living in a hostel for 12 dollars a night.
